How You Can Determine The
Budget for Your Telemarketing Project?
Anyone considering outsourcing their marketing, sales or telemarketing functions has to
look at the economics involved one question comes to mind: Is it less expensive to
outsource or should I try to keep this inside?
Cost can be a major factor but should not be the only factor in your decision. Many
experts will suggest that there are other factors that come to play when moving an
important function outside, such as your ability to perform or manage the activity as well
as a firm that performs the work full-time. The results of a professional firm may
outperform what you might be able to achieve due to their ability to continue to invest in
technology, training, and human resources this is their focus.
In most cases, the answer to the age-old question above is "it
depends". In many cases you will find that it does cost you more to go to a
professional outsource agency, but not unlike working with an advertising agency, law
firm, accounting firm you are paying for results; results that you might not have
achieved by doing it yourself.
The purpose of this information:
The information below is intended to educate you and provide a tool to determine an
estimated budget for your program. Obviously, highly complex projects require more
interaction with the vendor(s) that you are considering to get closer to a final budget.
Also remember that larger programs and commitments can result in lower costs to you, so
the ranges that you will see in the pricing represent large to smaller volume projects.
SO GO FORTH!!! - Use these tools and estimated price ranges so that you can be better
educated when further interviewing your final vendor selection.

- Operational - Ongoing Fees
- Project Management (many vendors will assign a single point of contact to oversee the
entire project perform as your internal advocate). This is billed at either an
